Firearm Purchases (PAL Requirements): In accordance with Canadian law, all clients purchasing firearms must provide a valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) during the checkout process. We process these verifications quickly and efficiently to ensure your order is shipped without unnecessary delays.

2. Delivery Methods & Regional Tax Advantages

We ship exclusively within Canada, processing all transactions in Canadian Funds (CAD). Shipping costs are calculated dynamically at checkout based on your preferred delivery speed. We partner with Canada Post and premier National Courier Networks to ensure dependable delivery to your doorstep.

?? The Out-of-Province Tax Advantage Because The Outdoorsman is proudly based in Alberta, out-of-province buyers are only required to pay the 5% Federal GST. No provincial sales taxes (PST/HST) will be added to your order, making a nationwide purchase from our inventory highly advantageous.
  • Physical Address Required: We cannot ship firearms, ammunition, or oversized items to PO Boxes. A physical street address is mandatory.
  • Oversized Shipments: Multiple-item or exceptionally heavy orders may require additional freight handling fees. Our team will contact you if revisions are necessary.
  • In-Store Pickup: If you are local to the Medicine Hat area, you may select complimentary in-store pickup during checkout.
