Shipping and Orders
All orders are secured using a 128 bit encrypted SSL technology site wide to properly ensure your purchases and all information is protected while purchasing from The Outdoorsman. All customers ordering firearms must add their valid PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) during checkout, and all orders will be processed quickly and efficiently so that we can ship your firearm to you as quickly as possible as we understand just how much an emergency 1 week until season opens is for our clients and customers!
Shipping will be calculated based on preferred method of shipping. We can ship using Canada Post, Courier, or Greyhound Bus services across Canada!
Above all if you are out of province you save! Being an Alberta based business you are only required to pay the Federal 5% GST. There will be no provincial sales taxes calculated on your ordersmaking it that much more appealing for an out of province buy!

We at the outdoorsman are not a chain corporation we have been family owned and operated since 1980, and we are hunters, sport shooters, and have been avid outdoorsman just as our company states in our company name.

Shipping and Returns
CANADIAN ORDERS:
For delivery purposes you must be a Canadian citizen and we only accept CAN currency Orders may be subject to shipping, and taxes to be paid by the recipient upon ordering.. Oversized and multiple item orders may have additional shipping charges. Additional charges are the buyer's responsibility and will be added to your total order cost. Depending on the products purchased one of our Customer Service Representatives may contact you to request or provide further information. Purchases require a physical address – a PO Box number cannot be used.
In store pickup is also available for all Orders
Return Policy
With receipt: Items returned accompanied by a receipt and in saleable condition will be refunded at the original purchase price, plus applicable sales tax, in the original payment method.
Without receipt: Items returned unaccompanied by a receipt will be processed at the selling price in the past 60 days, plus applicable sales tax. Such items may be exchanged for the same product, or returned for merchandise credit.
Note: Unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order or if the product is defective, shipping fees charged at time of order will not be refunded and the cost of return shipping (if a pre-paid return label included with your original order is used) will be deducted from your merchandise credit or refund. We cannot accept COD return orders.
The Outdoorsman reserves the right to limit or decline returns and exchanges.
For items damaged in shipment, please contact us before returning. Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.
*Our standard return policy does not apply to the following items:
New firearms: All sales are FINAL. If a firearm is defective, we will exchange it within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, contact the manufacturer or an authorized service centre for warranty determination and/or repair. Please call us prior to mailing a firearm to our return centre. Abuse, incorrect use or subjecting the firearm to extreme conditions may invalidate the warranty.
National brand optics: May be returned within 60 days of purchase with the original sales receipt. The item must be returned in its original packaging and with all accompanying manuals and accessories. After 60 days, these items must be returned to the manufacturer. Optics include: binoculars, scopes, spotting scopes, range finders, sights and sunglasses.
