Return & Exchange Policy

Our Commitment to Your Satisfaction

At The Outdoorsman, we work hard every day to ensure you are fully satisfied with your gear. If you are not completely satisfied with an eligible purchase, we offer refunds, store credits, or exchanges within 30 days of the original purchase date, subject to the conditions, inspection requirements, and exclusions outlined below.

Important Return Condition Requirements

Unless a product was received damaged or incorrect, all merchandise submitted for a standard return must be unused, uncarried, unworn, unsharpened, unmodified, uninstalled, unmounted, complete, and in original resalable condition. All original packaging, tags, manuals, inserts, accessories, components, and promotional items must be included.

Products showing signs of use, wear, carrying, sharpening, installation, mounting, alteration, damage, misuse, field use, or missing components may be refused. All returns are subject to inspection and final approval.

Returns With a Receipt

Eligible items returned with an original receipt within 30 days of the original purchase date will receive a refund at the original purchase price plus applicable sales tax, processed back to the original method of payment.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. All returns are subject to inspection and approval.

Returns Without a Receipt

Eligible items returned without a receipt within 30 days of the original purchase date may be issued a store credit calculated at the item’s lowest historical sale price, including applicable sales tax.

Returns remain subject to product eligibility, purchase verification, inspection, and approval.

Product Exchange Option

For an eligible return within 30 days, with or without a receipt, you may request an exchange for the exact same product, subject to current inventory availability, product eligibility, return condition requirements, inspection, and approval.

Online & Shipped Return Requirements

Do not ship a product back before contacting The Outdoorsman and receiving return instructions.

For digital or shipped return requests, customers must provide a minimum of three (3) clear, current photographs of the actual product being returned. Photos must clearly show the entire product, the product from another angle, and the original packaging, tags, labels, and included accessories. Additional photographs may be requested.

Providing photographs or receiving return instructions does not constitute final approval. Final eligibility is determined after the product is received and physically inspected.

Return Shipping Costs

For standard returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the product back to The Outdoorsman. Return shipping costs are not prepaid or reimbursed by The Outdoorsman.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining the tracking information until the return has been fully processed. The Outdoorsman is not responsible for return parcels that are lost, damaged, delayed, or misdirected while in transit back to us.

Do not send returns COD or collect. COD or collect shipments may be refused.

Manufacturer Warranty Claims

A standard return and a manufacturer warranty claim are different processes. Products that have been used and later develop a suspected manufacturing defect are generally not processed as standard 30-day returns.

Manufacturer warranty claims are generally handled directly through the applicable manufacturer according to that manufacturer’s warranty terms, procedures, eligibility requirements, and available remedies. Where reasonably available, The Outdoorsman may assist by providing proof-of-purchase information or directing customers to the appropriate manufacturer warranty process.

⚠ Strict Return Exclusions (Final Sale)

The following items are completely excluded from this policy and cannot be returned:

  • Firearms, black-powder guns, ammunition, gunpowder, and primers.
  • Reloading lead, brass, bullets, and binary explosives.
  • Treestands, safety harnesses, and mouth calls.
  • Custom or specialized storefront orders.
  • Gas-powered gear that has been used or has had fuel or oil added.
  • Drones that have been used or are missing original packaging, manuals, or accessories.
  • Premium eyewear and sunglasses, subject to applicable manufacturer warranty guidelines.

Certain items may be required to be processed in person at our physical retail location due to product type, safety requirements, legal restrictions, shipping restrictions, or inspection requirements. All products must be returned within the country of their original purchase.
